About Your Instructor: Kate Faoro Wright is a Seattle-born and -based yoga teacher who has joyfully been involved in the community for over 7 years. She is the co-founder of Wilderwomen, a community of women empowering women outdoors; owner of Tapestry Event Company, a wedding, event, and retreat company weaving more of what you love into your life; and Studio Manager of CorePower Yoga Ballard. She loves teaching classes that challenge your muscles and your mind. Her sankalpa is to be a source of home--physically, emotionally, and spiritually--for her students to feel at ease and abundant in their bodies.
Class Description: This class combines the strengthening, heating elements of a vinyasa class with the lengthening, cooling elements of yin yoga. Celebrate your mid-week accomplishments by firing and flexing your muscles in the first half of class, then ground your energy with a slower stretching practice to generate peace and stability in the latter half of your week.
